Its kinda hard to mess up this product. But one thing that would help tremendously is directions. If you have never bought anything from topoak, be prepared to Google your heart out looking for directions. So let me help. For the rainfly for the Stellar tent, you need to take off the rainfly attachments on the tent and the ladder holders. Then attach the new brackets to the 270 topoak awning. Don't tighten them down until you have the awning in place. Open the tent and then finish tightening the brackets down once you have them lined up. I hope this helps.
