So far I'm impressed. The RTT was packaged extremely well, no damage from the shipper thankfully. They included a pry bar to open the wooden crate however the pry bar was too flimsy and bent upon trying to use it (not a big deal though).

Upon inspection, nothing was damaged and there were no parts missing which is always a good start. The only issue I had was that there were no instructions so I had to watch a couple of their videos (which don't show how to install it) to figure out which parts went where but it wasn't too bad (instructions would be nice, even if they are just rudimentary instructions since most applications are slightly different).

To install it on my roof rack, it was defintely a 2-person lift so don't try to do this alone unless you're a body builder lol. Once on the roof rack, I was able to open it up and finish the assembly.

The fit and finish of this tent "so far" is very nice. The light suppression fabric really keeps it dark with the windows closed and all of the hardware seems very stout and durable.

I haven't had a chance to sleep in it yet but the included matress was pretty comfortable but time will tell how well it sleeps from a comfort perspective as I'm a side sleeper.

Overall, I'm extremely impressed thus far. The price of this RTT compared to other competitors was the main reason I purchased this and I can tell you that I tested a lot of RTT at Overland Expo PNW and this tent easily was as nice as other big name brands. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tent (and their awning) to someone in the market. I have posted youtube videos of both the awning and RTT recently for those who want to see more information. Second time RTT owner and this tent far exceeded any and all of my expectations. You can't beat the qualities and price. I'm still wondering how they can produce/manufacture this thing and sell it for such an incredible price! Blown away!

Robust packaging resulted in zero damage during the long LTL transit to GA. Product quality for this price point is pretty incredible. Design of the tent is fantastic, excessive headroom feels more spacious than the Smittybuilt Gen 2 even though it's slightly smaller. IMO, this tent offers an incredible value when compared to the expensive name brand tents of similar design. Topoak is an absolute no brainer purchase if you're looking for a tent in this category.

Shipping took longer than expected, but tent is great. The size is perfect, exactly what I was looking for.
Only thing is we didn’t receive a lock key for tent.

I recently purchased the Galaxy 2.0 Roof Top Tent from Topoak, and overall, my experience was mixed but ultimately worthwhile.

The shipping process was less than ideal. There was a delay in shipping, but Topoak maintained consistent communication throughout, which was reassuring. Unfortunately, the tent was damaged during shipping by Estes, and their delivery service was subpar. Not only did they deliver well outside the specified delivery window, but the delivery driver was also unpleasant, which added unnecessary frustration to the experience.

Despite the shipping issues, the tent itself is excellent. The Galaxy 2.0 Roof Top Tent is very well made, using high-quality materials and hardware. It’s evident that Topoak prioritizes durability and functionality in their products. Setting up the tent was straightforward and hassle-free, which is a big plus for any camping enthusiast.

Topoak’s customer service was prompt and efficient. They quickly reimbursed me for the damage to the tent, which I appreciated. Their handling of the situation demonstrated their commitment to customer satisfaction.

I highly recommend Topoak for their superior products and reliable customer service. However, their shipping partner, Estes, leaves much to be desired and makes the overall purchasing experience more cumbersome than it should be. If Topoak can address the issues with their shipping partner, it would make for an all-around excellent buying experience.
