I’d give the Galaxy Pro tent 5 stars. The main reason I chose it was the value for the price, and so far it has definitely lived up to expectations.

Right out of the box, everything matched the website description accurately. The build quality feels solid, and it’s clear a lot of thought went into the design and features.

One of my favorite aspects is the rainfly, especially with the rainfly kit that allows it to integrate with a 270-degree awning. That combination creates a really functional covered camp setup and adds a lot of versatility.

Another big plus is storage. I’m able to fit my sleeping bag, pillow, ladder, and poles inside the tent while it’s closed, which makes setup and teardown much easier and faster.

I also mounted solar panels directly to the tent without any issues, which was important for my setup. The built-in Anderson port works great, and the diesel heater port is an excellent addition as well—both are really nice touches that make this tent stand out compared to others in this price range.

Overall, I’m very happy with it so far. It delivers strong value, useful features, and a well-thought-out design. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a capable RTT without spending a premium price.

Very solid and low profile roof top tent. Highly recommended. Deployment is fast and easy. Only downside is when you pair it with a 270 awning, the awning gets in the way of the side tension poles making it impossible to attach.

I knew there was a chance of cold weather on our first trip using our new Vision XL, so I purchased the insulator at the same time. I am glad I did! One night, the low temperature was 30°F, and we were warm without using a heater. It was super easy to install and take down. Highly recommend it if you are going to do any cold-weather camping. Paired with a small diesel heater, you could brave just about any cold weather Mother Nature throws at you!

I purchased the galaxy light 51” for my 2026 crosstrek and I got to use it for the first time last week. The set up is so easy, the rain fly adds only a minute or so to set up. It fits two adults comfortably. I used a power bank for the light strip, I don’t see a need to use the external connection but it’s always nice to have an option. The only thing that I had to adjust was the included mattress isn’t enough for me, comfort wise. I brought a topper but will need to find another solution as you cannot close anything in that tent, trade off for how slim it is. My fuel mileage barely dropped and this really exceeded my expectations for its comparability with my small suv.

The extra roof bars were to mount 400 watts of bi-facial solar panels to the tent. We are very pleased with the results!

My Vision (L) RTT arrived as scheduled. Crated well with zero damage. All parts received in full, install was not difficult at all. Fits well with no overhang at the tailgate. I centered it over the bed, on 8” Billie Bars, so it’s essentially level to the top of the cab. Black tent on black Tacoma looks nice, it’s well proportioned. Can’t wait to give it a go this spring!!

Topoak galaxy pro rooftop tent is an awesome value. Great RTT, quality hinges, clamps, seals, help up great driving home in the recent east coast ice storm, perfectly dry inside.

Lots of great features that cost extra when shopping other brands. The light and charge ports in the tent work great, zippers are smooth.. very impressed by quality. We’ve slept in it about 4 times now, we’re loving it! When I ordered from Topoak, the shipment was delayed due to a freight shipper issue, and they gave me a small refund to apologize for the delay!! Couldn’t believe it, I didn’t even ask about a refund. They just told me I was getting it. Great customer service.

Recently bought 270 awning brackets for this tent, will be mounting them soon once the weather warms up!

I am 6’2” and fit great with fiancée and corgi. Even in sub 20° weather, with a Kelty double wide sleeping bag we were plenty warm.

The included roof rails work great to support a luggage rack for extra storage.the whole package fits great on my Touareg TDI.

A++ product and customer service!

I've mounted this Top-Oak on a Alu-Cab contour canopy on the back of my 2023 Tacoma. It was easy and straightforward, 20 minutes-ish to install the first time, spending extra time lining everything up properly. It will be much quicker in the future.
I'm a freshly retired metal fabricator/welder and equipment mechanic of 35yrs so I would say that I "might just" have the credentials to judge build quality and durability. This Top-Oak is very well thought-out, put together solid and looks like it will hold up to the rigors of the trails and regular use. I will know more about that in the very near future as my spring and summer docket is plump full of adventure trips in the mountains and wilderness of north Idaho and Montana, fishing hiking and scouting for Elk season.
*I previously ordered a Lone Peak canopy/wedge-tent camper and used it a bit, it was okay built and functional, but a real pain in the bum to put on and take off, it actually took them 1.5 hours to install it at their facility when I picked it up after waiting a grueling 8 months for it to be built, (I think they were built to be a permanent fixture on your truck/jeep or whatever, I mean you got a truck to do "truck things" with...right? Not just have this bulky thing there all the time) It was HEAVY, cumbersome (did I mention bulky) and it bucked wind horribly on my mid-sized truck. I have owned full sized overhead campers in the past on various other trucks and never had such a problem with wind resistance like that Lone Peak... so I switched, Ezze-Peez. Couldn't have sold that thang fast enough...gone!
I didnt mean for this post to be bashing another, but this Top-Oak really does solve all those problems handily, I don't hardly know its up there when doing 70mph on the highway, I can pop it off in a matter of minutes when not using it, stores easily, and right back on in minutes when needed.
Looking forward to putting in service within the next 6 weeks or so and will report back if need be. I have a good feeling I won't need to add much here, maybe positives though.

Great space inside with toms of cool features very happy with my purchase.

First impressions is this RTT is made with quality materials, well designed and sturdy construction. First install took a little creativity since it was just my 5’4” self and my 6’5” friend, once we got it on the roof it was smooth sailing from there.
When we got to the sight, the tent was super easy to setup. This was one of the reasons I purchased it and it did not disappoint. Setting up camp solo with a child was a breeze! No more fumbling around with footprints tent rods and stakes. The ladder was a learning curve, but that is because I assumed I knew how to use it. Once I read the instructions it was easy.
The mattress was surprisingly comfortable, even with it being far thinner than my normal setup with a blowup mattress. The shoe bags are genius and easy to clean when you’re packing up. Lighting bar is nice, especially with the different light color options. It is also very sufficiently bright! We loved having the sunroof window. Beware if you close all the shades they aren’t playing when they say blackout, we slept in an hour after sunrise and had no idea the sun was even up until I checked the time. The rain fly’s did their job, kept us dry! Best part is that is was in the thirties the last night of our trip and we were comfortable because we weren’t sleeping on the ground! Second reason I got the RTT.

Pack up was a breeze, just have to make sure you get everything tucked from the hinge side to the opening as you are closing it. It was still very easy to do being short and doing it solo with a child.
This tent made us feel like tent camping royalty and bonus is that it made my Subaru extra sexy.

I’ve purchased from TOPOAK before, so I knew what to expect on the quality. Shipping was fast, everything arrived extremely quick and nothing was damaged. The quality is top notch at a fair price! Extremely happy with my new RTT and would highly recommend! I will be doing a full review on my truck setup in the future with this RTT!

I recently bought the tent and opted the pick up at top Oak Warehouse in Ontario. The staff fork lifted on my rig and installed it in parking lot.

Tested the tent in freezing and raining Northern California campsites. The tent held up and did extremely well. Recommend get a diesel
Heater if camping in cold weather, the heater helps dry condensation inside.

Very Happy with purchase and tent was extremely built well. I have an Ikamper and this is comparable with 1/3 of the price. Buy one and you won’t be disappointed. I am not sponsored by Top Oak.

just recently came back from a trip to finally give this tent a shake down. Weather conditions were extremely windy nights and seeing temperatures of 24°F. Pairing this with a diesel heater, we were so so comfortable. The blackout curtains are no joke, definitely pitch black once everything was zipped up. The tent had zero condensation in the morning which was amazing. The mattress that’s in the tent gave me some of the best sleep I’ve had while camping. Set up & breakdown is so simple while allowing me to keep the ladder, 2 sleeping bags, 2 pillows and 2 blankets inside. Can’t recommend this tent enough

Great tent, very well build, a lot of space inside. My complaints so far are
1-they do not include the power cable for the tent, I had to reach out for them to tell me what to buy, is a $20 cable just include it or tell people before hand what to buy
2-the mattress is very very think and you wont be able to close the tent if you put a foam mattress on top
3- the tent should have zippers that glow in the dark
Other than that i love the features and materials.

I just spent the last 4 weeks in various area's in the Rocky Mountains. From Montana, high elevations of Colorado and Southern Utah. I was at 3000-9500 ft at night during this trip. During this trip, I was in all kinds of weather, rain, cold temps, warm temps and windy nights. This tent holds up.

I experienced several cold nights that got down to the mid 20's F. I did not have a heater, but stayed warm with my winter sleeping bag. The frost/condensation remained outside and never came into the tent which was huge for me. On the rainy nights, it never leaked and it poured and hailed on me. On the windy nights (gusting at approx 10-15) it held up. In the warmer temps, I opened up the doors and kept the screen doors closed. It ventilated alright but it can get warm. I recommend a small fan with temps 80+

Now for the tent itself. Easy to set up. I got it down to less than a minute. Take down is a lil more intricate. Bringing the roof down and squeezing the air out is the main thing. But once you get a system, I was down and secured in less than a minute. The mattress was comfy. Interior lights were awesome. Plenty of pockets too.

The sleeping space I had was great! Im a big guy. 6'1", wide shoulders, 270lbs. And a second person in there is possible. Especially since im a side sleeper.

Overall, love the tent and can't wait to see what else Top Oak has to offer so I can test it out.
