INSTALLATION
Important Installation Safety Notice
1. Crossbar Thickness: Each crossbar must be between 1 ¹⁄₃ inches and 2 inches thick.
2. Crossbar Width: Each crossbar must be between 1 ⁷/₈ inches and 3 inches wide.
3. Crossbar Spacing: The distance between the crossbars must be from 30 inches to 60 inches.
4. Dynamic Weight Capacity: The dynamic weight capacity of a single crossbar must exceed 154 lbs(70 kg).
5. Bolt Positioning: Ensure the bolt head is firmly seated in the recess to prevent rotation.
6. Tighten Nuts: Fully secure both the black quick-release nuts and the anti-slip nuts (with the blue rubber ring) at the screw ends. If there isn’t enough space for both, the anti-slip nuts must be installed.
7. Spacing: After tightening all the nuts, if the clearance between the U-bracket and the T-slot is less than 1/5 inch (5 mm), please contact us for assistance.
8. Routine Check: Regularly inspect and re-tighten all nuts before each trip, especially if the tent has been mounted for an extended period.

Have had this tent for a couple weeks now.. Took it out twice so far—once at beach, once in desert. It’s mounted on the bed rack of my AEV Prospector.
The crate showed up with no notable damage. Tent was in perfect condition so hats off to Topoak team for great packaging engineering.
Mounting it was so easy. One minute for a buddy and I to beast it atop my rack, 2-3 mins to center it perfectly on said rack, and maybe 10 more mins carefully tightening it down.
As for the tent itself: For reference I’m 6’4”, my wife is 5’8”. The tent fits us very well but I could see anyone taller than 6’4” starting to have some issues. Mattress is comfortable. Zippers work well. Ladder is sturdy (I weigh 220). Super easy to fold in and lock back up.
If I could change one thing that would be worth an extra $10-20 charge, it would be making the u-bar a little bit thicker. It feels a little too thin.
The Stellar is an absolutely excellent value. If I treat it well, I see it treating me well for a long time. Highly recommend.
Can’t say enough about this company. I was skeptical about the email only customer service but they were very responsive and helpful. The delivery was flawless, no damage at all when I received it. Other than having a low profile roof rack that was a pain in the butt to get the tent attached (not the tents fault) I had no issues.
Came within two and a half weeks,packed very well in a wooden box zero damage very happy with my purchase. awesome tent
