INSTALLATION
Important Installation Safety Notice
1. Crossbar Thickness: Each crossbar must be at least 1" thick.
2. Crossbar Width: Each crossbar must be between 2 ²⁄₅" inches and 4 ²⁄₅" inches wide.
3. Crossbar Spacing: The distance between the crossbars must be from 30 inches to 60 inches.
4. Dynamic Weight Capacity: An aerodynamic roof rack system with a dynamic load capacity greater than 165lbs (75 kg) can be safely installed.
5. Bolt Positioning: Ensure the bolt head is firmly seated in the recess to prevent rotation.
6. Tighten Nuts: Fully secure both the black quick-release nuts and the anti-slip nuts (with the blue rubber ring) at the screw ends. If there isn’t enough space for both, the anti-slip nuts must be installed.
7. Spacing: After tightening all the nuts, if the clearance between the U-bracket and the T-slot is less than 1/5 inch (5 mm), please contact us for assistance.
8. Routine Check: Regularly inspect and re-tighten all nuts before each trip, especially if the tent has been mounted for an extended period.

I absolutely love my tent! I’m 5’10.5” so finding a tent with space for me, another person, and my dog was a challenge. I was looking for an aluminum tent under $3,000. I was looking for an aluminum tent with racks, good space for my height, a thicker mattress, ladder included, decent price, nice colors, and a weight that my Subaru could handle. I found all of this in a TopOak tent. I’m beyond happy with my RTT especially, for the price. I was concerned about space due to my height as a woman, but there’s more than enough space for me and my dog. I love the dark orange color that pop out and catch your eye with the black. The colors are a great combo. The colors match my 2024 Subaru Outback Wilderness. I have a bad back so I needed a thick mattress. The mattress is thick and feels great! The tent has like 3 or 4 shoe bags and/or bags for storage. There’s an awesome LED light in it. It’s tall and wide! It’s everything I wanted! I’m very happy with this RTT.

My only complaint is , I wish I'd bought it sooner this summer! This thing is amazing hard to believe how reasonably priced for such high quality. Northern Maine camping trip fifty miles in the middle of nowhere
I love the tent and I love the new 2025 upgrades. Those are awesome so far no issues other than my bottom blanket underneath got wet and underneath the pad got wet wasn’t raining. Didn’t leak anywhere not sure exactly what happened there but overall I still give it a 10. I’m going to buy a diesel heater and I’m glad the the tent has the upgraded hole on the side to run the heater hose through nice upgrade this is my 2nd tent I bought the 2024 model without the upgrades unfortunately I had to sell it and now I replaced it with a 2025 model which is better because of the upgrades price was about the same for the money there’s not a better tent out there I hope to purchase the insulation kit before winter for a hunting season. Very good response from top oak good customer support very fast shipping awesome to deal with. I’ll be back.
