INSTALLATION
Important Installation Safety Notice
1. Crossbar Thickness: Each crossbar must be between 1 ¹⁄₃ inches and 2 inches thick.
2. Crossbar Width: Each crossbar must be between 1 ⁷/₈ inches and 3 inches wide.
3. Crossbar Spacing: The distance between the crossbars must be from 30 inches to 60 inches.
4. Dynamic Weight Capacity: The dynamic weight capacity of a single crossbar must exceed 154 lbs(70 kg).
5. Bolt Positioning: Ensure the bolt head is firmly seated in the recess to prevent rotation.
6. Tighten Nuts: Fully secure both the black quick-release nuts and the anti-slip nuts (with the blue rubber ring) at the screw ends. If there isn’t enough space for both, the anti-slip nuts must be installed.
7. Spacing: After tightening all the nuts, if the clearance between the U-bracket and the T-slot is less than 1/5 inch (5 mm), please contact us for assistance.
8. Routine Check: Regularly inspect and re-tighten all nuts before each trip, especially if the tent has been mounted for an extended period.

I was a little worried it wouldn’t fit my Jeep Cherokee, but it sits perfectly on my roof and folds down surprisingly compact. When opened, the space is bigger than expected, and it fits me, my wife, and our dog with no problem. My absolute favorite part is the skylight. Being able to just lay back and look at the stars at night is an experience like no other. With my old RTT, I had to unzip side windows, but this tent makes it effortless. One minor downside—the new fabric smell was a bit strong when I first opened it, but after airing it out for a night, it was fine. Super happy with the purchase!
"I wasn’t sure if I’d actually use the Anderson port, but it turned out to be super handy. Hooked up my power station, and running my fridge and lights was effortless. The heater vent was the real MVP on a cold night—connected my diesel heater, and the tent warmed up fast. No more freezing in the middle of the night. Didn’t think these features would matter much, but now I wouldn’t camp without them.
I spent weeks debating which rooftop tent to buy and finally decided on the Galaxy Pro. It arrived today after five days, and the box was bigger than I expected—definitely took some effort to lift onto my SUV. Installation was easier than I thought, and I was shocked that it really does open in 30 seconds. The space inside is much bigger than my old soft-shell RTT, and the blackout fabric makes it completely dark even in broad daylight, which is a huge plus. The mattress is decent but a bit firm for my taste, though it’s way better than my previous tent. Overall, this feels like a major upgrade. Can’t wait to test it out in Yosemite next weekend!
